Today’s photo is the Campanile at St. Mark’s Basilica.  I love the look of the statues with the tower rising behind them.

Today’s photo was a tough one to choose. One photo I really liked, but I know it’s been done before. Today was our first day in Venice and everywhere you look there is just so quintessentially Venice. I think this photo exemplifies that. The canal, the bridge, the buildings, the reflection – it’s what I’ve always thought Venice was. One of my favorite pictures from the trip.

This is The Campanile at the Duomo. I like the way the tower is piercing the night sky.

365 Photo Challenge for 2011 – October 23rd

I shot this week’s “story” entirely with Minimates and this particular two-pack is from a famous cover of a Spider-Man comic (famous in the comics crowd) with the Green Goblin flying around with a tied up Peter Parker behind him. The pack comes with the unmasked Peter Parker and even a bit of rope to tie him up with. So I decided to try and recreate that cover using the Minimates.
