Today’s photo is from the China Pavilion at Epcot Center. On the 2nd day of our trip we visited Epcot to partake in the Food & Wine Festival. The China Pavilion has this lovely spot and I was able to take this photo while the park was open with no crowds; handheld.

Today’s photo is from the Citroen store on the Champs-Elysee. The Citroen shop is a multi-story affair with new and old cars displayed on each floor. The lowest level features their championship WRC efforts. This is Sebastien Loeb’s 2012 DS3 World Rally Championship car. Sony NEX-5N, SEL16mm, 1/60, f/4.5, ISO 320.
We just got back from our first trip to Walt Disney World in 23 years. It was a ton of fun and I’ll warn you now, most of the pictures I’ll be posting for the foreseeable future will be from this trip. This photo of Cinderella’s Castle was taken our second day there. We started the morning in Epcot and ended the day at the Magic Kingdom. Cinderella’s Castle is especially beautiful this time of year with the lights on it.
Today’s photo was a tough one to choose. One photo I really liked, but I know it’s been done before. Today was our first day in Venice and everywhere you look there is just so quintessentially Venice. I think this photo exemplifies that. The canal, the bridge, the buildings, the reflection – it’s what I’ve always thought Venice was. One of my favorite pictures from the trip.
Today’s photo is a reflection of my new toy. It’s the box reflected off the screen. I’m not going to say what it is I got, I’ll let you guess..
This week was harder than I thought it would be. I had ideas when I started of things I could shoot, but I’m lazy and didn’t get to them. Still, it’s tricky to find interesting things to shoot that are reflected.
I noticed this reflection while washing my hands and thought it would be a neat picture so I went with it. I know I’ve shot this area before and converted it to black and white, but it’s already so monochromatic that it just works so well and the little bit of color seems out of place.
This is the view that inspired this week’s first photo and since I didn’t have anything else to reflect I went ahead and shot this.
