Finished! Not quite 365 photos, I did miss a few days and a month’s worth of pictures were stolen, but I ended up with 341 images. Not all of them are great and I lost a lot of steam for doing this after my NEX was lost, but I’m proud of all of them. I don’t know if I learned as much as I would’ve hoped, but I enjoyed the journey and don’t regret doing it. Sometimes the passion for this project wasn’t there and I think it showed, other times I took the time to enjoy taking photos and I feel I crafted some pictures I’m incredibly happy with. I’m kind of sad to see it end, but relieved at the same time.
As for today’s picture, the final one I took, I took a panorama of the Four Peaks area from Fountain Hills. I took it as I was finishing up with work and the sun was starting to set and giving that glow that is so great to the Arizona landscape. I like how it turned out. It’s a great representation of Arizona to me and I feel I finished strong; which was the only thing I wanted to do with today’s picture.
A random shot of a rock in the front yard taken with my phone since I left my camera at work today. I used the tripod mount I made to hold the phone.
This old Canon uses AA batteries and they just died on me, so I took a picture of the old batteries.
I took this at literally the last minute of the day. I didn’t even have time to shoot another picture to get the focus right.
So today is the first day of a new week’s worth of themes. This week’s theme is going to focus on the various toys and stuff in my room. Today’s photo is the Sideshow Boba Fett premium format figure that stands above the case for my Obi-Wan statue. He’s just got such a great pose and I think Sideshow really captured the essence of Boba Fett.
Today’s is the last photo for “transportation”. This is a car wash near the house that was closed for the night. I’ve always been kind of fascinated with the way things look when they’re closed. It’s as if they’re abandoned and deserted, if only for the night. I feel this image captured that pretty well.
I took this photo with my phone, and since I didn’t use the Sony I forgot that I took it and forgot to post it. This is a street sign I saw while walking Papago yesterday. So don’t you dare think of going to Papago and parking in front of these bushes and trees or you’ll get a ticket.
