We travel to California frequently and most of the time on the way home the sun is setting behind us. Driving like that I’m always seeing these amazing colors and silhouettes in the rear-view mirror. I just had to stop on a recent trip.

Today’s photo was taken while returning from a fishing trip off the coast of San Diego a couple years ago. Something about sunsets and water that just go so well together. Sony NEX-5N, SEL1855 @ 18mm, 1/60, f/5.0, ISO 100.
I was on my way to pick up dinner the other day and the clouds were looking crazy. I had to stop and take a photo. iPhone 5, VSCO Cam app, 1/40, f/2.4, ISO 64
Today’s photo is from a fishing trip I took a year or so ago off the coast of San Diego. We were out all day which made for some great shots on the water as the sun went down. Sony NEX-5N, SEL1855 @ 18mm, 1/640, f/9.0, ISO 100.
Today’s photo was actually taken yesterday. I was in the backyard when I noticed there were some fantastic colors in the sky. I grabbed my new tripod and shot this over the fence. This is a 6-shot HDR to really make the colors pop. Sony NEX-5N, SEL30mm, f/7.1, ISO 100
Today’s photo is from Walt Disney World. We stayed at the Polynesian Resort and one day while going to catch a boat on our way to Magic Kingdom I snapped this shot with my iPhone in Instagram.
Trying to get back into the swing of updating this blog on a more consistent basis. Today’s photo is Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland. I shot this photo when the area in front of the castle was closed off for an upcoming parade, I was able to get this while walking by. Used Photoshop to remove some pieces of trash and a wire, then used Perfect Effects 4 for some additional processing. Shot with Sony NEX-5N with the 16mm + ultra-wide adapter.
