Today’s photo is from Venice. Venice is known for the masks and there are lots of stores that sell them, you can also buy less extravagant ones from vendors on the streets. Sony NEX-5N, SEL35mm, 1/160, f/2.0, ISO 200
I’ve probably said it before, but Venice is such a magnificent city to visit and photograph. Every view you see of the city is just an iconic representation of Venice. Today’s photo was taken from the bridge next to our hotel. I actually remember looking down this canal from the other direction on our previous trip to Venice; so when we booked this hotel, I already had my bearings of where we were at. Trust me, Venice is a city you can easily get lost in – then again, that’s a big part of the appeal.
Edited in Nik Color Efex Pro 4 to increase the saturation and bring out some detail. Sony NEX-5N, SEL16mm with VCL-ECF1, 1/125, f/4.0, ISO 100
Today’s photo is from Milan and it’s a wall of chocolate. Walking around after dinner and we came across this little café with these chocolates. I originally thought they were a hot cocoa mix. I bought a mint chocolate and another flavor I can’t remember now, but they were delicious. Just down the street from the Duomo if you’re ever in Milan. Sony NEX-5N, SEL16mm, 1/60, f/3.5, ISO 1250
Today’s photo is a return to Disneyland Paris. The castle there is so beautiful it’s hard not to take lots of photos of it. After Disney Dreams the park was closed, so I stuck around to take some photos. I took this three shot HDR near the entrance to Discoveryland. Sony NEX-5N, SEL16mm w/VCL-ECF1 fisheye adapter, f/7.1, ISO 100.
