Today’s photo is from Disney World. On our last day I had woken up early and knew I had to get out and shoot. We were staying at the Yacht Club and it’s a very pretty area. Even more so with the sun rising over the water.
Today’s photo was taken after I had completed the Star Wars half marathon. We visited the parks for a while and the sun was setting as I was passing by Paradise Pier. I wanted a picture as the California Screamin’ rollercoaster was passing by.
In the summer, we took a day trip up north to get away from some of this oppressive heat we have in Phoenix. We were just outside of Sedona and stopped at this little visitors center with this great view. Sony NEX-5N, Sigma 60mm, f/6.3, ISO 100
Today’s photo is the Court of Angels at Disneyland. This was taken last year when we went on our final trip as annual passholders. This was always an interesting part of Disneyland. It was kind of hidden away in a back corner of New Orleans Square and there was no attractions there, just a pretty area of the park. Sadly, this area is now closed to the general public as it has become the new entrance to Club 33. Sony NEX-5N, SEL16mm, f/8.0.
Today’s photo is off L.A.’s Union Station. I used the fisheye adapter and HDR and this photo has a southern California vibe to me with the palm trees & blue sky. Sony NEX-5N, SEL16mm w/VCL-ECF1 fisheye adapter, f/7.1, ISO 100.
Today’s photo is another from San Diego. As we departed on our fishing trip I shot this HDR image from the back of the boat. The horizon is centered which is supposed to be a no-no, but I like the contrast between the drama of the clouds and the wake from the boat on the water. Sony NEX-5N, SEL16mm, f/6.3
Today’s photo was actually taken yesterday. I was in the backyard when I noticed there were some fantastic colors in the sky. I grabbed my new tripod and shot this over the fence. This is a 6-shot HDR to really make the colors pop. Sony NEX-5N, SEL30mm, f/7.1, ISO 100
