Today’s photo was taken at this year’s Barrett-Jackson auction. It had been raining and as we were walking around we passed this Ferrari F430. I just loved the way the rain was sitting on the car.
Taken with Sony NEX-5N w/ SEL35mm, 1/60, f/2.2, ISO 500
Today’s photo is from this year’s Russo & Steele auction. This 1947 Mercury was about to go to auction when I passed by. The chrome, the lines, the details, really make these old cars stand out. Sony NEX-5N, SEL16mm, 1/50, f/5.6, ISO 3200
Today’s photo is a Ford Thunderbird from the Russo & Steele auction earlier this year. I like the look the fisheye gave with this car. Sony NEX-5N, SEL16mm w/VCL-ECF1 fisheye adapter, 1/160, f/4.5, ISO 100
Today’s photo is from this year’s Barrett-Jackson auto auction. I loved the lights reflecting off the black paint of this ’67 Corvette Sting Ray. Sony NEX-5N, SEL16mm, 1/60, f/4.0, ISO 1600.
Today’s photo is a 1957 Chrysler Saratoga Coupe from Barrett-Jackson. There’s not a lot of color in the shot and I feel the red really stands out for it. Sony NEX-5N with SEL16mm at 1/60 sec, f/4.0, ISO 2500
I’m trying to update every other day, so I have another photo from the Russo & Steele auction in Scottsdale. This is a 1964 Lincoln Continental convertible. Also a 3-shot HDR mixed in HDR Efx 2. I like how deep the reflection is on the side of the car.
Taken with the Sigma 19mm at f/4.5.
Today’s photo is from the recent Russo & Steele auto auction in Scottsdale. For years Barrett-Jackson has had a huge collector car auction in Scottsdale and more companies are having auctions at the same time and bringing even more cars. This is a 1954 Jaguar XK120 Roadster. I shot it as an 3-shot +/-2 EV HDR and edited in HDR Efex Pro. Shot with the fisheye adapter for the SEL16mm.
