Today is Thursday and I’m finally getting around to posting this week’s first picture. The theme for this week is all about trying some of my camera’s built-in modes called Hand-Held Twilight and Anti-Motion Blur. The idea with these is that you the camera fires off six shots in the course of a second (longer if the shutter speed is slower) at high ISO settings and merges them into one to keep the picture detail and not have as much noise show up. It’s a mode I’ve never really explored and when I got my tripod, I just started using that at night, but that isn’t always applicable; so I’m giving it another shot. This is a sign posted in our backyard, so if you come over you know not to pee in the pool.
